If you open TweakVista and go to the Security section and check Medium-low security the boxes won't show up.

No thanks. Disable this feature is not a real solution. I already use TweakVista for this feature: "High security" (Unix-like comportement). :)

Please give the latest build a shot with the returning to the Windows default cursor issue.  Let us know if you still see the same issue or if it has been resolved for you.  Thanks. definately not resolved. i goto mouse/pointer and the default windows default cursor is gone, i reset it, turn on cursorfx, and it's gone again within minutes. and since cursor FX cursors tend to turn them selves off for no reason from time to time, makes it really difficult to use

ok, so this was working for a bit, but the last few updates have broke this again, and it's really annoying that i have to blindly goto mouse properties and reste the default windows incons so when things like switch between windows work properly, or when i remote into the pc from somewhere else

What build are you using?  Free or paid?
I'm not seeing those problems anymore?

WARNING FOLKS! Cursor FX not only still doesn't work but screws up your system too!

Oh, and don't waste your time (or money) with Cursor FX....it doesn't work and no one cares at Stardock!

One persons experience I guess.

CFX works well for me using Vista Business.

Reported bugs are always addressed.

meh

Works perfectly here on Vista64 Ultimate, and has been for a while. The initial childhood-aches are long gone, and CursorFX is stable as a rock.

As it does not mess with system-files at all, I have to assume that your system got messed up by something else.

but i still get the vanishing default windows cursor, so if i remote into the box, or disable cursorFX, i have no cursor at all, until i goto mouse properties and reset it. haven't heard from [email protected] in months
