Campaign mode?

Did I miss something here?

Just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything here. Is there a campaign mode in the game? Whenever I start a single player game, I get a scenario load screen.

I thought for sure there would be a campaign after the intro cinematics. After all, the cinematics set the stage for a cool multi-front story.

There isn't a storyline campaign, no. Ironclad does have plans for telling the story prequeled by the intro movie, but we're unlikely to see it before an expansion :)

I think that the idea is that you create the story from there yourself in a way. I lie the sandbox idea much better than a script, personally.

agreed. the background story simply sets the stage and tells the history of this particular galaxy's past power struggles, the game itself allows you to carry out the rest of the story any which way you want, with unlimited possibilities and outcomes.

can you say....RUN ON SENTENCE? lol
