How to make custom maps?

Hey guys, I want to make a custom map with about 10 planets- all Terran type though!- no pirates, and high in resources.

How do I go about doing this?

Ive tried playing around with the min, max, planet setting but I cant seem to get it how I want it to be...

This all in game btw from the map editor.

simply delete the pirate planet group. you see the content of the selected planet group right of the planet group list. you can set the remaining groups to terran planets or something like that in the same part of the screen, below that is the control for planet number inside the selected group. so just make 1 group with 10 planets, or 2 with 5 each, or something like that. ressource settings can be made at the new game screen, im not sure right now if this is changeable in the map maker too

You want to use the in-game map designer?

In addition to the mins and maxes, don't forget planet groups -- someone should probably make a guide to do this better... oooh, I have an idea... I'm going to go add it to the website I'm working on :D
