Friends List Chatting (in Game)

Hey,
What use is the friends list if we can't chat to those on it privately. i have several people on my list, and sometimes I'd like to private chat, instead of clogging up the Lobby. Also I'd like an in-game chat, so I can discuss disconnects, or just chat to them. Is their any possibility of this, as I think it would be a great addition. I am really enjoying playing the game, and thanks.

Whispers over ICO are being included in 1.02.

Whispers in-game exist already, just hit enter and then tab to cycle through players to whisper to, unless I misunderstand this part
