Does the placement of multiple instances of the same platform around a single planet give more benefit? As in, two trading platforms give twice the income or two broadcast towers double cultural influence. I assume you can only have one, but I wanted to check...

Multiple trade centers will generate more trade drones, but the cash they generate is dependent on how far they travel. So building a second center on the farthest edge of your link of trade route will give you more benefit than building a duplicate in the middle.

In general though, it is better to build 1 platform around an adjacent planet rather than building a second at an existing planet.

I've no clue about broadcast towers.
