Installation woes

I downloaded the game last night. Well, I downloaded the SDCentral program, installed that, and registered my sins game, which it downloaded, but when it went to install it hangs at 7%. Something about extracting a PSIBEAMTOWER entity, or something close. I let it sit there for two hours, and nothing. I deleted SDCentral, re-installed, re-registered, re-downloaded the game and now it hangs at 0% Extracting Pacakge2.ini. I let that sit there all night and nada. So, um, yeah.

This is running on 64bit XP. Is there a problem with 64 bit systems? If there is, there should have been more of a warning?

Any help? Or should I just consider myself burned on another digital download?

If you haven't tried rebooting, you might give that a shot. Some people have reported that the files got locked somehow, and that sorted it. You might also try downloading it as an archive (Right click, Archive App, Download and Archive), then installing using the restore option.

I rebooted and also tried downloading it again as an archive and restoring it, but it does the same thing as well. It does the first extraction fine, but on the next go round it just keeps hanging on a random file, gotten three or four different ones, between 0-1%. There's no virus scanner to mess with it, so I don't know what it could be.
