Where do you locate replays ?

C:\docuements and settings\username\local settings\application data\ironclad games\sins of a solar empire\...

well in that folder you have basically everything. go to the appropriate folder auto or custom replay, single or multi. if you want to insert a replay but dont have the right folder just make a dummy replay of the same type and it should create the right folder.

The game doesn't seem to recognize the replays I put in from this website

I tried it in the various folders in the folder suggested above.

Also, making a test file ingame, I couldn't find the corresponding .record file in these folders either. There was a file with a different name created that I deleted, but the saved game still appears in game.

How does the game recognize .record files and display them to be watched?

I just put the .record files into the "AutoRecord-SinglePlayer" folder and it usually works. From the in-game menu select "Single Player->Watch" and then click the button at the bottom. That (for me at least) makes the recorded games show up in the list. Of course, if you're using v1.02 the recorded games from the site above probably wont work.

Theya re replays from 1.01! I told them to clean up the vault. I already submitted a 1.02 replay, but they haven't approved yet! They really get lazy over there at Stardock!
