Planetary Structure Placement

I do not know if it is a bug or not but when I first started playing the game I was able to place structures wherever I wanted, but now somehow structures are being placed automatically and usually in a unusable location especially defensive structures. I am playing the single player game right now so I do not know if this is happening in the multiplayer games. But if this is a feature then how do I stop it?

LOL - you have autoplace structures on. You have to right click (I believe) to turn it off. Just hold the mouse over the different icons down there until you find the one.

The hotkey is 'K', and the button is right above map ping - to the left of your build icons.

I will try the hotkey button, but there is no indication the autoplace is on, if it was on i would expect it to show me something similar to the scout frigates when auto move is on.

yea I turned it on accidently the other day too... wasted alot of resources trying to figure that one out I tell ya! LOL

The hotkey tricked worked, I don't even know how it got turned on in the first place.
