Sins website is refusing connections from my school

For some reason all of the stardock websites that reside on the 38.99.219.0 ip block including sins of a solar empire, galciv 2, and many other products are refusing connections from the IP block assigned to UC Santa Cruz 169.233.0.0 probably because they look very similar to the private ip space 169.254.0.0 that is commonly used by autoconfiguration for private addresses and someone probably just stuck 169.0.0.0 into the bit bucket. If someone could pass word onto the higher ups at Stardock I would love to be able to actually visit your website on my own computer and buy your game. Thanks.
