Score?

When you submit all your scores to the metaverse, how do they come up with the score they post for the rankings and such?

I figured they just added up all the scores that you posted, but that's not right, and it's not an average either.

I'm still new, only three games played and submitted. I'm ranked something like 2330 :D with a score of about 7200. I'm just trying to figure out how they came up with that?

The formula has been posted numerous times in the past, though you probably have to dig deep in the archives to find it. Since I don't care about the Metaverse I haven't taken the time to memorize it myself, but there is a square root of something somewhere in there, in addition to your total score. I can't say anything beyond that though.

square root of the # of games played in a period of 31 days(day 0 to day 30) then you divide the actual score by the square root of the number of games you played, for example..

If you played 2 games in a 31 day period.

Game 1 2000
Game 2 2000

sqrt of 2 = 1.4142

4000 / 1.4142 = 2828 (Metaverse Score)

At the end of each 31 day block your metaverse score degrades by 5% and the whole scoring square root thing begins anew. ;)

I could be wrong about the 5% degrade thing. It might be more or it might be less.. Not sure.
