Your Capital Ship/Planet Names?

Hey guys,

I just got done with a grueling 4 hour match in Gateway and I realized towards the end that I was putting alot of thought into the naming of my Capital ships/planets.

For planets, I usually go Halo-style or name after Earthly locales. This game I had (I was TEC, btw):
Basis (My homeworld)
Kusari
Reach (My primary military base)
Roadside (A five-way phase lane intersection)
Blackwater
Guardian (Rear Guard planet)
Harvest
Threshold

Ships I opt for historical battles, mythology, other scifi universes, ect. This game I had:
Vindicator
Arkangel
Wayward Warrior
Morningstar
Akerfeldt
Stalingrad
Virgil
Petrov
Malta
Bold
Traveller
Riesig
Musashi
Shepherd
Midwinter
Herecles

What kind of names do you give your capital ships/planets?

Hehe...well, for planets I've got:

Homeworld = Spice World
Desert Planets = We're Thirsty, Bring Water, Dusty Digs
Volcano Planets = It's Hot, Roasty Roost
Ice Planets = My Blue Ball, Penguin Pad
Asteroids = Feces Farm, Rock O'Mine, For Sale, We Need Women, Happy Hut

And for capital ships I stuck with TEC naming conventions with a little modiciations...

Dreadnaughts = FAT Tony, FAT Paulie, FAT Franky, etc
Battlecruisers = RAM Rod, RAM Staff, Battering RAM, etc
Carriers = Pussy WAGON, Weiner WAGON, Band WAGON, etc

After all...what's in a name?

Thanks to figuring out how to rename stuff i went for Babylon 5 ship names when i play TEC :P

In multi I tend not to rename my planet until after I've been scouted.

There's nothing more conductive to an early rush than renaming your planet to "Pwnage"...

In my current game as the Advent, I named my three capital ships:

Augustine
Aquinas
Benedict

To be honest, I forgot I could name planets as well! Hmm, which of my planets shall I name Novus Romanos? :)
