My computor doesnt start after update 1.01a

Yesterday night i DL the latest "patch" via stardock and everything went fine. But i was tired so i called it a night and turned off the computor.

Now it wont start. I see when i start the usual "memory-count" and what HD and CD-players etc i have after that winXP shall load but its black (ie. it doesnt load at all)

Now i wonder if its the game or i have to install windows again? (i am currently using my ancient laptop and i have tons of other things on my computor i dont want to loose....)

There was a problem with earlier version of SDC that would corrupt windows boot ini file preventing startup.You may have to correct that. There are earlier posts here that explain fix.

yes i know, and i had the latest SDC. Anyway, i repaired it, and it doesnt have to have with SD to do (it was only that i wanted to track down what happened;)
