Anyone have any luck with the beta tools XSI converter?

I tried exporting in XSI using the dotxsi exporter, all variations (3.0-3.6 and text/binary) as well as trying to use crosswalk? to export XSI 5-6 binary/text none of these seem to be accepted by the mesh converter tool provided in the beta tools. I have gotten shps in with both code herders tool and the Max exporter, but they both have some issues. I'm curious if anyone has figured out the right export format for the XSI?

There should be errors reported when you go to convert. Post those and we can tell you what is wrong.

I have exported models in XSI using dotXSI ASCII format, version 3.6, and they were accepted without issue by the converter.
Crosswalk, however, does not pass go.

If I had to guess, I would bet on some exported element not being compatible with the converter. Try deselcting everything on the dotXSI exporter window except polygons and user normals and setting polygon type to polygons.
Also try setting the model material to a basic white one.

That's all I can think of right now, the settings above are what I use and they work fine for me.
