Map help

I've Downloaded some maps but don't know how to access them. Can someone point me to some instructions

Place them in the Galaxy folder in the game's location. This is C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\Sins of a Solar Empire by default, IIRC.

I've done the above, but the map (called Sessrion Cluster.galaxy) hasn't shown up in any of the map catagories, including custom maps.

Am I doing anything wrong?

I am also having trouble. the maps i made are not there so i deleted them from the galaxy folder and made a new map since the patch and still they are not showing up.

Maps made with the current version of GalaxyForge need the version number at the top of the file changed from 0 to 1 in order to appear in-game. Just opening the map in notepad and making the change should do it.
