Proceedure to download updates NOT directly to installed game

Get Stardock, you should be able to right-click and select "Download and archive", which you can then transfer to CD/zip to take to your other computer.

I know that worked for the full game, so I would assume (dangerous, I know) that it would work for updates...

Asharak--thats good to know. Thanks. By "get Stardock" do you mean becoming an "affiliate'? If not, where on the Stardock page does one register? (The page you get when clicking the tab at the top of the GalCiv home page. Thanks.

The second item, Stardock Central. Download that, install and follow the instructions here ( http://www.galciv.com/sdgc/ ) to set it up. Skip the sections about DLing the game, since you don't need to do that.

I got stardock cdntral and downloaded it. Now I have a folder. What to DO WITH FOLDER? The instructions I have from your link (thanks) say register...regsister where? What icon to click on from the stardockcentral folder to register?None that I click on show me a screen that looks like one from the instruction link. By the way, I receive NO EMAIL after I downloaded SDcentral with any serial#...which leads me to believe I need to do something else with the FOLDER I downloaded..
I click on the sdcentral icon and get a home page, but no serial number to enter after hitting tools and register.

Wampyre, pull down tools, then register products... fill out the form using your logon registration info nickname=Wampyre, email address etc. and of course the CD key is the serial number. Make sure the upper box says Drengin.net subscriptions also...

thanks Gray. I assume "CP CURSER" in the product box means nothing? The serial # had me confused as they said I would get an EMAIL, which must have meant if I ordered the game online. I will go forth and attempt to register.
