This is done in like news feed with a reporter guy talking to my admirals and such on the battle feild.
"This is Joesiph Urinoski reporting for the Tripraxi News Network about the Ranger class T.W.S. Ragnerok reporting on the current military campaign against the Dread Lords. I'm here with Grand Admiral Tomasu Ichimoto."
"Hello Joesiph I haven't seen you since you reported on the war with the Yor Collective nice seeing you again."

"Yes the fleet is dvided into 5 task forces consisting of 20 ships each. We are task for one and other than this vessel there are 19 Battle Crussiers. The second task force contains 20 Frigates and is lead by the T.W.S. Renew Valour. The Third and Forth task forces are made up of 10 corrvets and 10 Battle hammers lead by the TWS Fallen Hope and the TWS Scarlet Tyre. The final task force is made up of Combat Transports and 5 addition battle crussiers for escort"
"what is the battle plan"
"We plan to entrap use the 3rd and 4th task forces to attack outlying Dread Lord Systems to divert there Fleet away from the key economic and production worlds, then go in for the critical stike with the 1st 2nd and 5th task forces."

5 months latter at the Dread Lord border (yea there that far away)
"This is Admiral Ichimoto to all ships the 4th task force has reached its objective and diverted 30% of the enemy fleet but the 5th and our Alexain allys have enconterd heveyer than expected enemy resitance prepare to go to maxium warp we setting coarse for their capital the 4th force say they will arrive an half hour after the battle begins and the 5th cant make it. ENGADE!!!!!!

"Good the enemy wasn't exspecting us comence attack!"
"Sir, all ships report ready to open fire."
"prepare to lanch the mass driver!!!"
"mass driver away sir."
36 months later
"Sir we are reciving a communication from the dread lords"
