Altarian Prophecy newbie question...

I just downloaded Altarian Prophecy last night, and have a question (I'm sure I'll have more later, as I can't find any documentation).

When I played the standard galciv, in the production cycle, it would only display a planet if either a new ship was preduced, or the social production queue was empty. In the new game, it seems to bring up the planet display on social production even if the queue isnt' empty. Is there a way of switching the game so that it works the old way? It's not a big deal when you have only a few planets, but in very long games in humongous universes I can imagine my finger siezing up eventually

There are options you can check in the main menu. These can be checked or unchecked during game play. Review these options to see if one of these needs to be unchecked or checked.

The option is something like : governor ignores GNN reports.

You can get all your settings back to the way that you want them by copying your prefs.ini file from your GalCiv\Data folder to your AltarianProphecy\Data folder.

Thanks, Active Governor ignores GNN reports is the one that did it. In retrospect, it kind of makes sense, but I don't think if I tried I could have come up with something more obscure and confusing to describe the option. I don't know what's wrong with something like 'Don't confirm queued social production' or something equally brief and to the point.

Too long for that space. :)  Some of the options are poorly worded because I was really stretching for descriptions that didn't get cut off.  And I'm sure that the French and German translators had an even worse time!
