sound problems once again

Hi, so far no matter what I'm having sound issues with Galciv. If it's not sound distortion during game creation it's the sound going out at random times. My drivers are updated, and this problem seems to only happen in this game, and Farcry. Is anyone else having a problem as well?

Yes!
I had to dump a game yesterday because the fuzy sound would not go away no matter what I did!
This has been months! This is the only game I have that does this.

Well From what I heard the game City of Heroes has this same problem, and they said they supposely found a solution. Have no idea thou. But really it's weird that a turn based strategy game, a fps and a mmo game all share the same problem.

I play with background music = off. I haven't had a crash from the music since. I have had a crash from using Terror Stars (special fx music = on). I reloaded some drivers per CariElf and it fixed the Terror Star problem (except for the planet victim, hehe).
