Thanks guys. Several hundred MB of archived BACKUP data just got deleted by your "latest" SDC. You have no freaking idea how much $hit you have just caused me.

This totally unbelievable.

I'm curious just how much $hit they did just cause you. I read about problems with a previous version of SDC, but I just updated to the latest w/o my Backup dir being touched.

That is odd.. why in the world would it delete files in folder not related to the program whatsoever? Did you install the software in a folder rather than the default?

I've never encountered anything like that in a software application or game in 18+ years. The *only* time I saw something similiar to this was when someone installed a game in a folder other than the default, and when an update or something was run, and it was cleaning up, it was cleaning up all files other than the listed ones. Thus all his other files were deleted.

Weird... feel bad for ya tho!
