Altarian Prophecy - Default alignments?

Hi,

It has been so long since I installed the original Galactic Civilization so could not remember if there was a default alignment for the races in that game. I have always played the game as:
Drengin - Pure Evil
Altarian - Pure Good
Yor - Chaotic Evil
Torian - Chaotic Good
Archean - Neutral

and I had the idea that this was the default. At least it has an enjoyable setup for me.

After installing the Altarian Prophecy expansion I was given the option to choose the alignments for all the races.

Are there defaults to be used?
If there are no defaults - which setup has worked for you?

If you might go evil then don't have any pure goods as they will attack you for no reason other then you exist. I still like to keep them different as much as possible thinking that they are more likely to go to war with each other then you. :)

I use as my defaults, 2 pure evil, 2 pure good, and 3 neutral. It doesn't matter much which you choose, but I choose Alterians and Torian as Pure Good, Drengin and Yor as puer evil, and Arcean, Korx, and Drath as Neutral.

I generally have civilizations at their default alignment [Drengin are pure evil, Arceans are neutral, Torians are chaotic good, etc.], except for the two Altarian Prophecy civilizations. I make the Korx Chaotic Good and the Drath Chaotic Evil. For balance, anyway. Two extremes, four non-extremes, and a middle-of-the-roader...
