Have you registered you player id and serial number? On the bottom left side of the Metaverse page there is a button called register id. press it and follow the instructions.

I did register some days ago. When I click on my name in the forum it says:

Player Name: gmt76
Player ID: 22328
Score: 0
Metaverse Ranking: 0
Empire:

I submitted one game, it said something like 3600 points in the end, used the same details as I used when registering for the metaverse but my name/score doesn't show up.

Have you double checked the e-mail address? If not, look to see if you have any blockers on your modem, they can cause problems. You may need to turn off your virus software to send it.

Did all that, still doesn't work. Any more things I could be doing wrong?

Just check to make sure you player name is registered with you serial number, go to the Metaverse page and click on the button half way down on the left that says register player. It should take you to a page that has your player name and your serial number. If they are blank, fill them in and submit.

Make sure you submit your player name as gmt76 (since that is what you registered) instead of gmt ;)

I am submitting it as gmt76 (since gmt is used by somebody else already). AFAIK I don't need to use gmt76 as my player name at the start of the game. Or maybe that's the culprit?

No, you can use whatever player name you want. So, you are submitting as gmt76, and whatever e-mail address you used. What virus scanner and anti-ad software are you using?

F-prot, Zero Popup 7.90. Had both disabled the last time I tried.

I will start a new game and when I am finished I will try again. This could take a while since I will try out a large map on Beginner level (coming from tiny and Cakewalk) :)
