Resolution for running in a window

I normally run at 800x600, but when running GalCiv in a window, it's far too large and won't fit on the screen. What resolution do you have to run to get GalCiv to properly fit on your screen? Thanks.

GalCiv runs at 1024x768, and nothing higher or lower, even when in a window. So running in window mode is only of use if your desktop resolution is greater than 1024x768.

oh boy, that's no good. my laptop lcd runs at 1280x600 (odd aspect ratio, but it's a subnotebook).
