I've just found an article on www.mountainastrologer.com that relates to the questions I just asked in my last article - i.e. in astrological terms, is there any reason to believe that the recent transit of venus over the sun would have any peculiar affects... (cause i had a really intense week!)...
Anyway, I've copied a short exert from the article by Mary Plumb that I found (though I'll have to re-read it a few times to try to understand it):
The ancients considered a planet's strength to be greatly increased when in cazimi ("the heart of the Sun" — within 17' of the Sun). Although Venus at cazimi is usually hidden by the Sun, her essential nature is deeply (if invisibly) invigorated by this aspect. On June 8, however, the Venus transit will be seen in many parts of the world as a small shadow on the face of the Sun. The visibility of the transit in daylight suggests that the symbolic integration of the Venusian principle with the creative consciousness of the Sun is an event that will have perceptible and recognizable consequences.
Because of Venus's retrograde, she will oppose Pluto three times during the sensitive period of her solar transit; the opposition will be exact on April 30, June 2, and July 26, 2004. (Venus stations retrograde on May 17 at 26° Gemini, and her direct station is on June 29 at 9° Gemini.) This combination, which occurs this spring and summer, could be interpreted on many levels; certainly, the Venusian principles of cohesion, attraction, and magnetism may be exposed, challenged or exaggerated in potent ways. If we include the influence of this rare transit of Venus over the solar disc on June 8, we may speculate that the feminine principle, combined with Pluto's life-and-death urgency and raw courage, will be drawn into positions of influence and necessity heretofore unimagined.
Few of us are in a position like that of Dr. Rice, who speaks on behalf on a presidential administration, but we are all under the guidance of this great Venus event. At best, Venus is a force for unity, love, and happiness. I am watching for myriad manifestations of feminine strength as it arises powerfully in these next years.

Venus has been messing up my stuff for the last 2 months. I left my husband, am now in new relationship, I have way to much energy, I feel like I'm going to explode, This is suppose to last until August. Don't know how I'll hold on. This spring has been the craziest one since I think 97. She's most definitly made a huge impact in my life. Rather scary. I now obsess about the future and my relationships with people. Rather frustrating. If you're as upside down as I have been, I wish you the best of luck!
