Help! Low Morale.

I recently started playing Galciv and i love it, but i have a problem. I start by colonizing as many PQ +15 planets as possible and try to stay out of contact with the other races for as long i can. After a couple of years in-game my Morale starts dropping on all my planets even though i have built all the morale enhancing buildings availible. I have no idea why, my taxrate is around 30-40% and i care pretty much for the people, all of my planets have a population around 5 b. Do anyone have a idea what most often causes loss of morale? My party, The federalists, have also lost control of the senate to the war party . :notsure:

Moral dropping will happen after a while no matter how many improvements you have.But try playing with +20 moral as a starting pick.

If your party lost control, then you tax slider is probable too high. Lower your taxes until the indicated show a better than 55%morality.

Me, I just stick with Imperial. I think its too much trouble to have to keep up the people's morale all the time. ;p But if you do choose to go with democracy, why don't you start investing in propaganda?
