Master of Magic 2

It's completely off topic but based on poll Stardock dad on their site sometime ago they are considering to make Master Of Magic 2 .

I just want to say - Go for it !
But stick to the prev. design , just make Windows running version of MoM with new videos , images and sounds , may be add few more races and spells but don't change the concept or even UI !
(GalCiv is a great game but it's not HQ remake of Master of Orion I so wanted! )

GalCiv on OS/2 came out BEFORE Master of Orion.  It was never designed to be a remake of MOO.

there are 2 things I miss on GalCiv: Multiplayer (LAN,hotseat, internet) and ship construction (eg. research weapons, shields, hulls, engines etc. separately and build the ships you want). of course that would require a different way to handle combat too.

ah well, MoO is dead long live GalCiv2 and MoM2! :D

Well...i do hope that MOO will live again sometime in the future. It has great concepts and races. GalCiv is very different IMHO as well as Space Empires. All these games should have many sequels. GalCiv2 and Space Empires 5 on their way... :HOT:
