Trade Routes Problems?

In one game I was playing, I had about seven trade routes going (after researching the proper technologies). Most of them were going to a single planet - one of the minor races.
After a while however, I noticed that my income was decreasing. So, I went to the trade route screen
(becuase a large part of my money was coming from trade) and noticed that for one of my trade routes under income it said "N/A".
So I destroyed this route and reestablished it, after which I was getting a numeric value for the trading. But after a while, another trade route had "N/A" for its trading value. This constantly occurred and I don't know why.

Questions:

Why did "N/A" appear under my trading value for one of my trade routes?

What does it stand for?

Why did this constantly occur to different trading routes even after reestablishing them (destroying it and then making a new one)?

Am I allowed to have many trade routes to a single planet? to a single civilization?

Any help is appreciated.

Are you sure that the trade route was not closed due to war ? (you get a warning message in this case)

I already had several routes (ahem 2 in fact) going to the same star system without problem ...

but as the amount of trade depends on the planet quality, its population, and probably other variables linked to wealth, maybe the planet you are trading with does not need the stuff coming ..

I believe, based on empirical evidence, that N/A means someone took the planet. (cultural or war? dunno if it makes any difference). You get no value from it, and it won't be coming back. AFAIK, the only sensible thing to do is to kill the route and go again.
