1st:
Am I the only one who is getting miffed about trading with other races? Pick the techs/systems/ships/TG's, enter a price and/or terms, rinse and repeat... Over and over... Grrrrr. Would it be possible to add a feature similar to civ 3 where you place items on the table and click a button to get an offer. Then you could negotiate from there? I'm sure after many more games we'll all have a better idea of what the techs are worth but even then, it's a pita.
2nd:
In my current game I have some oddities with research in the economy window. I put spending at 100%, military at 100%, social and research at 0%, all is well. All is also well when I put social at 100%. With either social or military spending my budget looks good. But when I 0 out social and military and put research on 100% my budget balance drops from 25bc, +/- 5-10bc, to nearly -800bc! Wow, right now I can only go 3-5% on research without breaking the bank. Does anyone have any idea why this is? My last game didn't do this and I'm rather confused. :notsure:
Thanks in advance,
