Game won't install - help

Finally located the game and bought it from a video game specialty store. Put the CD in, get the autorun menu. Can view the Readme, access sd demos, or exit without any problems, but when I click on the "install" it just hangs. Browsing the CD and directly clicking on Setup.exe also hangs.

I've removed all programs including McAfee virus checker.
My system is:
ASUS P2BD w/ Intel Celeron 1.0GHz
703MB Ram
10GB+ free disk space on the first HD and much more on the other
Windows 98 SE,
DirectX 9.0b with full h/w acceleration set on
ATI Radeon 9000 128MB running Viewsonic V191 LCD at 1280x1024
Creative SB Live! sound card, MS Media Player 9.0

Any suggestions would be much apprciated.

P.S. I had uninstalled the GalCiv Demo after playing it many times, so I know the game ran well on my system.

If all else fails, you can input the serial number from CD into registration area of Stardock Central and then download and install the game using Stardock Central. To get the latest updates, you'll have to register anyway.

This feature is one of the greatest aspects of Stardock games because you never have to worry about losing the game if you buy a bad CD or lose the CD. I hope this helps. :)

Thanks for the suggestion. It worked.
Stardock Central came through with a download and an install that worked. The game is now up and running plus its been patched to the latest version!
