Hex Editing Questions

Hey all!

I keep seeing references to Hex-Editing in all threads everywhere related to "cheats" of various sorts, but there's never any instructions on exactly how to. :notsure:

If anyone knows how to do so, could they maybe post a link or somesuch, please? ;)

I've played through a couple times (pretty much all unsuccesfully, damn you random death to me events), and I feel that its time I've earned the privlege to fiddle with things a little to relieve some stress and have some easy fun playing it through on really-easy mode for a change. :)

I don't know why you'd want to cheat when you can set all of the AI's to fool. Also, playing in Tiny or Small galaxies will make the game easier because they end quicker. If the events are giving you trouble, try updating to the latest version (events in easier levels happen a lot later now). The game's getting updated every day, if you don't know.

I don't wish to get into some silly and pointless flame war, but the baisc principle is: its kinda fun to screw around with a game sometimes after playing it for real, just to be goofy. And its not like I post to the Metaverse anyway, nor is it possible to in any practical sense (The game has a remarkably good system to detect editing, and where would be the joy in cheating out everyone else's fun? [Unless you're a sadist or something else less serious :D] ) :)

And by chance, my recent two wins did happen in the updated version, so tres bien.
