Hi this is a plea for help. I've managed to beat the game up to beginner difficulty. For some reason once I started playing this difficulty the A.I became a whole lot more aggressive. It also seems to be able to tech faster to capital ships whilst having a stronger econ. Any help/advice would be warmly appreicated.

Off Topic: I created the Pol Machine forums today along with world and US party debate forums. See how it goes if after 30 days the debate forums are not getting enough hits I will remove them. :p

Raven-sb, I hope you found out what you wanted to know. We sort of went off topic a bit. :)

Ratios.. hmmm I tend to do whatever I need at the time.. Every game I play slightly differently.

I firmly believe in posting my tips and advice to the stardock forums here because it is where most newbies and players congregate.

This is where I got my start so I like to contribute as much back to the players.

I agree this is why I am here myself. I was lost when I first picked up the game. Of course I do leave my link in threads where it may bring some people to my site. I do hope no one gets annoyed I am supporting Galciv and signed up as an affiliate to do it legally.

Thanks I do hope you take part as many other experienced players. My site is there for everyone to enjoy not for my own personal ego. I have provided for free this service long before the Internet was around. I ran my own B.B.S. back in the 80's with 2 phone lines for 8 years. We had over 55,000 members world wide on the Atari computer system.

Some website owners try to use the site to get attention or some other selfish reason. I am not one of those people. I am here strickly for the love of gaming and providing a good resource as possible for everyone to enjoy.
