Tech requirements to open different types of Governments?

Hello all I'm new to GAL CIV and I did do a search and couldn't find any info. How can I find what I need to research to open up other types of Governments? Thanks for any help. And I'm sure other questions will be coming ;p

The best site to figure out the tech tree is JavaScouts.

I would have given up on the tech tree if I had not used this when I was starting. :) You can figure out what techs you need to get anything you want with a few clicks of a mouse.

(goverments fall under the communication research tree)
