Pictures in the Galciv writer.

I've recently downloaded the galciv writer, and I was wandering how do you get (or make) a picture to put in the game so that the ship doesn't look like another ship in the game? I'm mean I know I could just use like the phoenix picture or something like that, but I wanted it to look unique and cool; so that's why I was wandering.

The ship pics (small, big anfd information screen) need to be in an .mdl file, together with a view from the ship in all (at least 8) rotation positions, this can be done with the Graphic Editing Suit

Thanks Icho Tolot, I've already downloaded the Graphic Editing Suit, and since I have MDI Photo Suite I can also customize the ships! But I have yet to learn how to get my own custom model in the Galciv writer... any help appretiated.

If you are adventurous, you can edit .ship files with a .txt editor to manually add your ship graphics. GalCivWriter doesn't seem to pick up custom graphics.

Warning: always keep a clean copy of folders containing files you edit.
