How can I change race names ? What file to change and where ?Thanks.

Try English.str - edit it with Wordpad or similar.
Change the word Drengin, etc, wherever it appears not surrounded by square brackets.

This can also be done with the GalCiv Writer.

Yes, you can do this in the race setup. Name for the major races are saved in the .ini file
