Altarian Prophecy Problems

Well, i just bought The Altarian Prophecy today and downloaded it. I was very excited, especially about the new map editor. So when i finally set about making a map and the tried to save it, the editor crashed without saving my map. I have tried an aditional 3 times since then and all attempts at saving my maps have failed. I could use some advice on how to fix this problem. Thanx for your time!

I have not heard about this error myself. Though I have not tried to create any maps yet. I read in another thread that the map will not work right unless you setup home worlds properly. I think there are a few bugs with the map editor. :notsure:

Yarovich: what version of DirectX are you using? You can check by running DXDiag (Start->Run, enter dxdiag). 

Also if you install SmartException from

www.stardock.com/products/smartexception

That will give us some more information about the crash.
