Hey I have an important question!!

it ill work.. you don't have to install more than one copy of the game.. all you need to do is setup a new account with a different email address and username .. then you can choose which one you want to submit the game under at the submit to the metaverse screen..

IMPORTANT NOTE: once you've submitted a particular game to the metaverse account .. it stays with THAT account.. even if you try to submit it to another account it won't work.. so be careful that when you submit a game that you submit it to the account that you want it to go to..

Ok I kind of understand, but I don't what to get rid of my current account I just want to be able to have two completely different accounts at the same time on the same computer. So if you can understand what I just wrote then could you try to clear it up a bit more please? LOL

yes.. you'll end up with 2 accounts..

IE: one using

your old email address,stardock reg no.,username,alias

and the other with a different

email address,stardock reg no.,username,alias

just set it up properly and you'll be fine.. Don't use the same reg info,account info email address atc... when setting up a new account

you can use the same game id twice or more, as long as you have a different name and a different email, and have a doppelganger - much like evil steve and lord evil steve and captain flash.....

Steve thats up to Stardock's disgression.. They can decide at any time to make that non functional. its better to (safer) to have it using another ID..

Stardock warns that if you abuse the system that you will be banned.. its ment so that you can have multiple login's for use in the forums.. not so that you can submit scores under multiple names..

Anyone using that method to sumbit games under different names may just log in one day to see that some or all of those accounts closed.. SO.. I strongly suggest that anyone wanting multiple game accounts that they use multiple ID's.. Especially after what happened when they caught people cheating in the metaverse... You have beed warned...

Thanks every one, and a big thank you to J.T. Qwerk! Alrighty so if I do want another acount, I'll just purchase another copy at amazon.com and register another metaverse acount and it should work! (The reason I'd buy from amazon.com and not here, is because their price is so much lower. But its not because I don't like here, and if it was lower here I'd buy it from here within a heart beat! )

Oh and I wanted to add this also. (I would have added it to my post above this one but it was getting a little full up there.) The reason I'm interested in buying another copy is because my brother likes this game also and he wanted to play; but he also wanted a meta acount and thats the whole reason why I asked these questions!! LOL

I myself can't see the need to have multiple submitting accounts.. however its nice that stardock does allow for multiple posting/forum accounts for chatting/roleplaying

Maybe Stardock could offer a discount for already existing customers of a particular product who whish to purchace more of the same product to give to friends or use as multiple accounts.. This to me sounds like a great promotional idea...

Actually, if you want to have two different serial numbers installed on the same computer, it won't really work because it will store only one of the serial numbers in the registry, so it will submit to the metaverse with only one serial number.

I am not sure that you really need to buy another copy even from the legal stand point (I am sure Stardock will appriciate the second purchase). If the game is used on the only one computer it could be used by as many people as you like.

If this is the case then why was I informed NOT to use multiple logins and for the reasons I stated above ???
