How do I delete a rally point?

double click the rally point and it brings up a menu. Click the disband button in that window
I'll give you some more advise. Click the planet menu on the bottom so the planets are on the right hand side. click sort by rally point on that menu and then you can change rally points really easy. Saves lots of time and it took me a long time to discover that so I'll tell you up front.
