BUG - Error in GNN report

It says "We have 4 colonies" when I actually control most of the galaxy.

Yes, very odd when you have 18 star systems. Did you take over most of those? And I've never seen the yearly report post how many colonies I have.

Yes culture for a few and military conquest for the rest. I only colonised 3 planets myself (plus Earth seems to count) since the AI was *very* good at grabbing systems.

Then that explains it. It only counts a colony as a planet you've captured with a colony ship. Maybe there's some colony variable that only increases when you colonize a planet, not when you conquer a planet or culturally absorb it.

Yup, which is fair enough but kind of silly... You control the known universe but we only count whatever you colonised yourself and never mind the 38 billion people who died taking the other 20-odd worlds...
