Trouble with StardockCentral

I'm having trouble with SC. (stardockcentral) When I start it up and go into the very first screen you see, it asks me if I'd like to download the very latest version. So of course I say yes, so it goes ahead and tries to download it but when I exit and get back into to it a different time to check for new updates for galciv, it asks if I would like to download it again! >:( So I asume that that means it didn't sucessfully download the latest version, and I get the same result every time. Please help. :)

Which apps does it keep showing? Also which version of StardockCentral are you running? In either case, they should be updated, what does it say the version is in the installed column?

It works perfect for me.. I had it happening before from my having 2 different email accounts probably not related though.

Anwser to JakeC: I think I'm running the version right before the update called beta something. I'm sorry I can't give exacts on it, but I sure that the update has beta in it if that helps? :notsure:

if you go to Help->About Stardock Central it will tell you. Please include the build number. Also which apps "refuse" to update properly?

What is this "build number"? I don't know much about it, so I'll need more detail please. I'm sorry I'm so incompetent with this stuff, but thanks for your time and patience.

No problem, the build number is in the same place as the version number. Also which apps are giving you the update issue?

If what you mean by 'apps' is which one pops up and asks me... its just a regular one that asks me if I'd like to download the latest version of stardock central. Stardock Central 2.00c[b].90 (beta) is the newest one it asks me to download. Hope this helps you.
