Tech bonus?

How many points are you suppossed to get at the start of the game to apply as tech bonus? I seem to get a number between 5 and 10. Is this correct or should it always be 10. The first time I play 4 points are already allocated and 1 remains. The next time I play the previous 5 are allocated and 5 points remain.

You're supposed to have a total of 10 bonus points to distribute among the different categories. It's supposed to save how you allocated them the last time. Please send me your prefs.ini file from your Data folder so that I can see what it's saving.

Pref file on the way. Note only 5 points! Still not sure why this then changes to 10 for the next game?

Isn't the amount of points dependant on the difficulty selected? 10 points at easiest, 0 at max?
