Another new GALCIV player

from Stardock Forums
I have actually been playing for about 6 mos, but finally found my way here after struggling though (and losing) at the harder levels. I have managed to download most of the approved mods and it definately has enhanced the game play. Thanks to all who put there thoughts in to the forum as it has helped me greatly! :)

Fules Chies, drop by the Guardian forum under the Empire button to the left of this page. We would like to get to know you better. We will also sponsor you at the Embassy where the Guardians have a private area to discuss things that are somewhat sensitive, such as who we should put a contract out for the IBH to track down :D LOL Also, you get to acquire points, play a simple stock game to win more points, play the lottery to win more points, etc.

We also have a strategy thread where other Guardians have provided pointers on how to win various types of games - you may find this interesting as you move towards the MASO game playing skills.

I have finally obtained GalCiv, although I haven't got the add-on just yet. I am sort of playing a game and I am way behind on technology and on most other things, I gather.
I have downloaded stuff, but I haven't read it. I am hoping to achieve the stage where I might actually understand what you are talking about - until then let us hope that the dawn of knowledge will not be so far off in breaking.
I have, however, another game I want to keep going - Trainz - a trains building simulator which I can't keep away from.

Trypwriter feel free to stop by the embassy forums where you can find most of the active members of the galciv empires. Operating under a strict 'no recruiting' policy, you can ask any queation you like and may even find a lot of help in the dedicated help section. :)

Go to the front page and register. You will recieve an email when you are authorized to enter. Should take less than a day.

littlewotts, managed to get the user name password thing down and now I am registered. What do I have to do to get through the "Sorry, but only users granted special access can read topics in this forum."? :notsure:

Those may be private forums for one of the empires. For example, the Guardians have a private forum for the Knights that only the knights can access. In this forum, we discuss who should next be added to knighthood, who should be an honorary Guardian, etc.

The IBH have a private forum area and I think that is the only thing that the Foundataion has, i.e. private.

I need pointers I am struggling to get a game going on Bright.. How in hell do you guys manage the higher levels is beyond me right now. :sniff!: LOL

My apologies, I would invite you now, but I will not try to lure you away from the Federation. I have too much respect for the other empires to try to recruit thier members. If you do ever desire a change, the Guardians will welcome you.

NO I am happy with Star Fleet totally loyal to Admiral Qwerk. If he ends or quits the empire this will be when I leave.
