Sorry to post this here but can i download SEIV

Ok im getting desperate for a good strategy game,and seeing as galciv wont be out for another 3 weeks(maybe longer in Australia) i need something to satisfy my urges.Where could i pay to download SEIV?
I got cable internet,so it wont take too long i imagine.Again im sorry to post this here,but i was getting desperate.If anybody has any info,it will be greatly appreciated.

Hey just go to www.shrapnelgames.com. They are the ones who sell it and its the only place you can get it. I think you can ether buy a downloadable version or the CD version. If you have not done so already you can download the SEIV gold demo. It lets you play 100 turns. At last I NEED GALACTIC CIVILIZATIONS! :)

Thanks alot man i check it out.And yes i have played the demo,i liked it but i cant stand limitations in a game,so i wasnt too comfortable with 100 turns.

I never tried Gold, but at least with the original SE4 demo, depending on setup it might be possible to /win/ in far less than 100 turns. It's not as big a limitation as you might think as long as you don't feel compelled to explore the entire tech tree.

You can't dl "full" SE4 game AFAIK : you've to buy at Shrapnel's and wait for the CD to arrive ... II got mine to France in 7 days so you'll still have it before GalCiv ! :)

I've been playing SEIV gold for, I believe, about a year now, and, its indeed a very good 4X strat game. But, the diplomacy in the game is pretty crappy, something I'm very much looking forward to in GalCiv.
