Goal of the "goods" social improvement

I am not sure to really catch the aim of this mod. Is this just a way to have always something to build? Because I don't see on budget the difference with the "nothing" social improvement

Me either. I don't it think can accomplish anything. :notsure:

Or if its presence can cause problems to the game because it has no abilities?

I carried on for 25+ years with the mod in place at the end of the game during testing. No problems caused with the mod. To be truthful i would deem the mod to be of little additional value to the game, other than having something in the build queue. That is the reason i did not certify it as it does not really add anything to the game.

CrazyHorse reports in the Foundation thread:

"It is the mod that has to do with "goods", if you try to build the goods it costs an outrageous -88888888888888888888 bc and if you buy it then you get a plus 88888888888888 that is what I think makes the game anomalous, I am trying to figure out which one of the mods is this one."

I'm thinking this mod might need a stronger than normal warning.

I thought it should work like the trading goods in Civ and give one a little extra cash per turn - It doesnt work? - Good to know.
