FATAL ENDING

After installing quite a few mods, I decided to begin playing GalCiv Alterian Prophecy. After I completed my first turn the game cut to an action screen of my civilization being completely destroyed and the game
ended. Can someone tell me what the problem is or how I can fix this? Thanks.

Are you playing with a scenario or a custom map? Are you playing the campaign?

I am playing with a custom map downloaded from the galciv website. It is the spiral galaxy mod.

It turns out that the spiral galaxy mod has a lot more planets than typical gigantic games and so it exposed a bug in Gal Civ's code where it doesn't check more than 1000 planets.
