Seem to have 2 Galciv's installed?

Hello(a terran greeting of hopefulness),
I have Galciv version 1.04 installed and another one. Almost everytime I Quit the game; I end up playing another 2 hours because it is still on the task bar.
I really enjoy it but my dog would appreciate help as would I. Thank you in advance. I'll join an empire once i figure out how to find me on themap/

Do you have the demo installed as well as the full version, or possibly the galciv original with Altarian Prophecy (he expansion pack)?

It sounds like you may not have updated your game. Install Stardock Central and run the updates. that may help you as well.
