Submitting score to Metaverse?

I just finished playing my first GC game. When the game ended I was taken back to the opening screen, I clicked on Metaverse, a web page opened but remained blank, just a white page. What am I doing wrong? I had previously registered my player name by going to the Mataverse page on the website.
