General Gameplay suggestion

Perhaps its just me, but Id like to know what each thing can and will do. For example, Im thinking about building sensor drones and I think I know what they will do based on their name, but no explanation is provided...

This game lacks good encyclopedia (galapedia?!) with links to it from all over the game.
