METAVERSE scoring system issue

ok guys i as much as i understand that there is a good reason for changing the scoring system *nerfing* the points alittle its all good. BUT, its unfair how some of us finish the game a day later than someone else and on similar settings but our scores dropped down 3x as much as it used to be. where is some one used to get 2100+ points now only gets 700+. 
. i dont cant really suggest anything at this point because there is obviously no solution that would satisfy everyone. but i would atleast appreciate something in the *update* history in SDC to address this issue since i qas quite shocked to find out why my score was so low after playing on a sub-normal gigantic map setting with only military conquest turned on and had only acheived a measly 1100 points :/.
