Metaverse improvements for Galciv 2

Here some thoughs about how to improve the current metaverse ladder to take in account inactive players. I know that the current metaverse won't be improved.
One problem with the current metaverse is linked to the fact that it relies on submission for moves in the ladder. So if someone became inactive and no longer submit, he will stay at the same place, unless a metaverse wide recalc take place. But since there is lot of players, it needs to be correctly narrowed, in order to make the recalc on people who haven't submitted for more than a month but whose score can change (ie have games younger than 291 days under the current metaverse calculation)
So I propose the following:
for each member memorize in their profile:
- the date of the latest metaverse calculation for the member
- the highest score obtained (can only be associated with a submission) and the associated date. Since people can see their score decrease when submitting games after a period of inactivity, it won't be always the date of the latest submission
- a status telling if recalculation is done by submission, by a narrowed recalc or if the score won't change anymore since all games are in the latest block. Coloring the name in the metaverse ladder according to this status will allow to see easily who is active or inactive from few months or inactive from nearly a year
Then the recalc can be narrowed on people who last calculation (from submission or recalc) is at least 30 days old, but who haven't the status associated with score that won't longer change. The recalc will change the status if necessary.
With all these improvements, we could have the following display:
- the current one, with score for all people, with an option based on status, that will allow to display the ladder for active playerd (it could be the default ladder),
- a best of all times ranking, with ranking based on the best score of each player
