GC II beta

Posted this in the GC II beta thread on the front page but don't think anyone who can answer saw it:

OK, now I'm confused. :)

Just got the latest GC News and it says: "Galactic Civilizations II won't be out for quite a long time still but we hope to get a beta of it out early next year for Altarian Prophecy users."

To me that says if I buy Altarian Prophecy then I will be able to beta test GC II. Is that correct?! I thought it was necessary to pre-order GC II to beta test it. Thanks.

From what I've seen on GCII forum, either way will work.

It is my understanding to get the Beta when it is released you need to pre-order GalCivII or subscribe to totalgaming.net :notsure:

That is what I thought too, but that is not what the latest GC News said. Perhaps Frogboy will clarify this.

You need Altarian Prophecy to view galciv2.com early.

But you will have to pre-order GalCiv 2 (or get TG.net) to get the beta which should be out in March.
