It's not you it's MOO3. Drop it in the trash and never look back. GC is the Way. ;)

I hate MOO3. I bought it the week it was released at full price, even though it got bad reviews. I loved MOO and MOO2 and bought it because of the name. MOO3 was by far the most buggy and confusing piece of sh*t game I have ever played. A complete disappointment. Did that sound bitter? I AM! >:(

PS: elmo3 is right about putting it in the trash. The ugly CD doesn't even make a decent coaster for drinks.

I liked MOO3, 'twas okay, but not as good as MOO2... and I'm still stuck with a half-conquered universe... :(

I then caught GalCiv by complete coincidence last week, and I'm definetely glad I ordered it. Awesome game. :)

MOO3 = Biggest dissapointment of my life!!!

BUT...

Take the combat from MOO3 and plug it into GalCiv then you will have one of the greatest games ever made!!!

Yep hated it but I wasted much of my life playing MOO2 while waiting for GC.

Personally I don't think that any time I spent playing MOO2 was wasted.

I think that although it may not be as good as GC now, It was definitely the best game in the genre for that time...

And taking into considderation the advances in technology between then and now I think they rate about the same relative to their release dates...

Sorry, but Marek is practically Religious about MOO2 :HOT:

M002 still available anyway ?
End of quote

I've seen it recently (I was surprised) at EB Games for about $10-$15. It still has the original box design, but now with an Atari logo on it (the a**holes who published MOO3). If Atari haven't messed with the original MOO2, it should be just fine. :)
